Mr. Good is a successful entrepreneur and business visionary with a track record for excellence in everything he sets out to accomplish. Upon entering the army in March 1965, and graduating advanced training with honors, he was sent to the army security headquarters for Europe in Frankfurt, Germany. After one year, Mr. Good was sent to serve in the 709th Military Police Battalion as a patrolman and the battalion’s top-level correspondence courier. He then volunteered for, and was sent to, Vietnam in April 1967, and served with the First Infantry Division in the Iron Triangle, where he received the Bronze Star for his service. Thereafter, Mr. Good returned to civilian life and immediately began his lifelong career as an entrepreneur. At just 20 years of age, he bought and operated an Amoco service station and garage. Several years later, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he gained valuable experience working in the engineering department with Williams Brothers Construction. Mr. Good then seized an opportunity to work for Union Bankers Insurance (one of the McArthur Group Companies). Within six months, he was offered a management position that incorporated one-quarter of the state of Texas, in which he shattered all state and national sales records. Mr. Good then went on to manage numerous real estate ventures and owned and operated two furniture stores, a wholesale/retail car business, a loan company, an independent oil company, and a general contracting company. He later worked as a national director for a Nevada-based marketing company. After spending four years in that position, Mr. Good participated in numerous investment ventures. Upon researching the markets and the economy, Mr. Good founded Good‑Way Management, Inc., to pursue private business ventures. Mr. Good is a high-energy entrepreneur who has often run several businesses concurrently. Utilizing his expertise and business savvy, Mr. Good co‑founded GoodMark Capital Group Inc. in 2012, along with Mr. Mark Bacon. Mr. Good is Christian principled and is not ashamed of Jesus or the Bible which in his opinion is the word of all mighty God.
